Frequently asked questions
Will the UK Home Office accept my translation?
The Home Office asks for a translation that confirms it is accurate, is dated, and shows the translator’s full name, signature and contact details. Every Zood certificate includes all of these, and you get a full refund if a translation is rejected.
Can you translate a shenasnameh with handwritten notes?
Yes. Select “handwritten” in the calculator and send every page that has entries, including notes about marriages, children and divorces.
How fast can I get it?
Choose same day, next working day or standard (2 to 3 working days). The calculator shows the price for each.
How much does a certified translation cost?
Standard delivery is £10 per page, next day is £12 per page, and same day is £12 per page plus £50. The minimum order is £50, and handwritten documents cost £15 extra per page.
Do I need to post my original documents?
No. A clear photo or scan is enough, and you keep your originals.
Is it suitable for USCIS?
USCIS needs a complete English translation and a translator’s certification that they are competent to translate and that the translation is accurate. Our certificates for US applications include that statement.
